Climate change is for sure a real phenomenon and we can see physical evidence proving that this is real. One of the more major physical signs is the sea level around the globe which is currently rising. This article discuss's this topic and shows how they created a new computer visualization of the sea levels rising. NASA has been collecting data since 1992 and they have created a visual that shows just how much coastline we have already lost. The GRACE satellites are two twin satellites that measure earths mass distribution. Another method used to measure change in sea levels is satellite altimetry, which measures the time a radar burst takes to hit Earth's surface and return to orbiting spacecraft such as TOPEX/Poseidon. These are very sensitive measurements, they can sense a dime that lays on a flat surface!
Sea levels rising may not seem like that big of a deal to some people but it will be once it becomes more rapid. Just imagine what it will be lie when sea levels rise over 2 feet, that may not seem like a lot but it really is. Just that little bit will submerge many islands and coastline all around the world. One day this problem will affect us all, and you may care a tad bit more when it does.
